Calgary’s Donna Mac cooks signature restaurant dishes from across Canada

Without the ability to travel, opportunities for creative culinary collaborations in Canada have been scarce, but the Donna Mac has developed an engaging way for patrons to sample signature dishes from great Canadian restaurants through a new collaborative series.

Scheduled to debut this weekend, Donna Mac’s new Saturday Night series will see the Calgary restaurant team up with various local landmarks across the country each weekend to deliver another restaurant’s most popular dish. The first one? The famous meatballs from the famous Italian restaurant in Vancouver, Di Beppe.

“We know that travel is often food-focused, so while we’re temporarily stuck, it gives us the opportunity to bring new dishes to Calgarians and showcase other great industry talent from across the globe. Canada, ”explains Madeline Needles, Managing Director of Donna Mac.

Chef Laetitia Chrapchynski (pictured below) and Donna Mac’s culinary team have worked closely with chefs at the restaurants they plan to present each weekend to make sure every offering is on-the-go, but above all, by remaining faithful to the restaurant collaborating original recipe.

Although Donna Mac is currently keeping the full list of future collaborations under wraps, she revealed that the following weekend’s Saturday Night series will feature an offer from Saskatoon. Ayden kitchen and bar.

Donna Mac is open for take out and delivery Tuesday to Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
